1. Who we are and what these terms cover
This website is operated by Rainwater Management Ltd. ("Rainwater Management", "we", "us"). These terms apply to your use of rainwatermanagement.ca, including the OGS sizing calculator, quote requests, and the technical library. By using the site you agree to these terms. If you are using the site on behalf of a company, you confirm you have authority to accept these terms for that company.
2. Sizing calculator and technical information
The sizing calculator produces preliminary recommendations based on the inputs you provide and published rainfall data. Sizing results, engineering drawings, specification sheets, and other technical material on this site are provided to support early-stage design and product selection. They are not a substitute for project-specific engineering.
Engineering review required
Final product selection, system sizing, and installation details must be reviewed and approved by a qualified professional engineer against your project's actual site conditions, hydraulic requirements, and the regulations of the approving municipality. Sizing results from this website are preliminary estimates and must not be used for construction without that review.
3. Quotes and pricing
Any pricing shown or provided in response to a sizing or quote request is an estimate. Quotes are subject to written confirmation by Rainwater Management, are valid only for the period stated on the quote document, and may change with site requirements, configuration, freight, and material costs. A quote does not form a contract until we accept your purchase order or issue an order confirmation.
4. Acceptable use
You agree not to misuse the site — including submitting false or automated form entries, attempting to access the administrative dashboard or other users' data, probing or disrupting the service, or scraping content at scale. We may block access that we reasonably believe violates these terms.
5. Intellectual property
The content on this site — text, product names, images, renderings, engineering drawings, and downloadable documents — belongs to Rainwater Management Ltd. or its licensors and is protected by Canadian and international copyright law. You may download and use technical documents for evaluating and specifying our products on your projects. Any other reproduction or distribution requires our written permission.
6. Disclaimer and limitation of liability
The site and its content are provided "as is". We work to keep technical information current and accurate, but we make no warranty that the site, the calculator, or any document is error-free or fit for a particular purpose. To the maximum extent permitted by law, Rainwater Management Ltd. is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from use of this website or reliance on its content. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited under applicable law, and nothing in them affects the warranties that apply to products you purchase from us, which are stated in your order documents.
7. Changes to these terms
When we change these terms we will update the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. Continued use of the site after a change means you accept the updated terms.
8. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of British Columbia and the laws of Canada applicable in it. Any dispute relating to the site will be brought in the courts of British Columbia.
